The Trail of Fire

Hey everyone

It's time to let go.
The act of letting go, in the sense of turning into a new direction. To say you have, and deep down going back to that moment in time and wanting it back so bad. The feeling of emptiness, that only one person on this world can fill. It is a cat & mouse game where both the cat and mouse don’t really know what they are chasing after.  Meaning, that some people chase after relationships or “ fillings “ that are empty.
These have come so that your faith--of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire--may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.
Every time the feeling arises, that god is distant he is nearer than you think he is. Imagine Jesus walking into your bedroom with all that he is and illuminating everything with his presence and all darkness has to flee. And then when we think all these weaknesses are going to destroy us and run us off the road, then God comes back at you.
But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.
That just blows my mind every single time. But I also wanted to touch a bit on the subject of pressure. The world and things are able to create so much pressure it can crush you while standing.
Then John 17 comes along and shows you the power of living words of Christ himself. These words pierce through every single cell of your body and show a love that was given through him to us that we can pass it on.
To be a faithful witness and messenger of him. What does that look like ? Hmmm that’s a good question, well didn’t he say I formed you in your mothers whom ? Before the foundation of the world he loved you with a love that can only be described in a love of Agape. We can’t earn it. Instead of taking godly matters as an excuse to not deal with apparent matters, you need to face and deal with. It might not look all that spiritual but oh my how it’s necessary. Just something I picked up from a sermon.
I’d like to let you chew on these thoughts a while and just give God some room.
Till next time J CHeers
